If you are moving to Vienna or within Vienna, you are required to register with the relevant registration office within the specified time limit. Here is an overview of the most important steps:

• Filling out the form:
  Please fill it out completely and legibly.
• Signature of the accommodation provider:
  The completed original must be signed by the accommodation provider – take this with you when you register.
• Registration at a registration office:

• Required documents:
  Required documents accordng to the City of Vienna
• Registration confirmation:
  After successful registration, you will receive a free written confirmation.

Please note that registration must take place within 3 days of moving in.
