A healthy living environment protects both your health and the building structure. To prevent mould growth, we recommend the following measures:
- Proper ventilation: Air rooms thoroughly several times a day, especially after cooking or showering.
- Adequate heating: Do not allow rooms to cool down, even during prolonged absences.
- Enable air circulation: Place furniture at a slight distance from the outer wall.
- Avoid moisture: Use dehumidifiers or fans in poorly ventilated rooms.
- Check for leaks: Have any leaks in windows, pipes or roofs repaired immediately.
- Check regularly: Look out for condensation, musty odours or visible stains.
- Measure climate values: A thermo-hygrometer helps to monitor temperature and humidity.
- Suitable materials: Lime or silicate paints can absorb and release moisture.
If you already notice signs of moisture or mould, please report this immediately via our damage report form.
